Join us for a night of fun, music, food, and culture!

New Orleans North is an outdoor Mardi Gras-style music event. It features bands, beer tents, food and street entertainment. The New Orleans atmosphere is enhanced this year as the location moves to its a new home: The Joliet Slammer Stadium.

There will be plenty of Hurricane drinks, street performers, a hookah alley, local art and more to uplift the mood.

Rain or Shine, this event will happen! No refunds for inclimate weather.

Volunteer

We are seeking hardworking individuals to volunteer at New Orleans North! Volunteers are asked to set up and clean up the event, staff entrance gates, sell drink tickets, serve cold beverages and more!

Heading to the festival? Take Metra

You can take either the Metra Heritage Corridor Line or Metra Rock Island Line to Joliet Station and get dropped off right across the street from the field.

Pace Suburban Bus offers a family of public transportation solutions. Routes 504, 505, 507, 509, and 834 provide weekday service to the Joliet Slammers Stadium.

Metered On-Street Parking

The City of Joliet has approximately 590 metered on-street parking spaces.

The hours of enforcement are:
9:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
FREE after 5:00pm daily.
FREE Saturdays & Sundays.

Locations:
“Zone A” – $1.50/hour
Includes the area of Cass Street / Route 30 and north of Washington Street railroad tracks between Joliet Street and Mayor Art Schultz Drive.

“Zone B” – $0.75/hour (Coin Only)
Includes the area south of Jackson Street and north of Cass Street, between Joliet and Scott Street; as well as, the area south of Cass Street and north of Jefferson Street between N. Eastern Avenue and Mayor Art Schultz Drive.

Parking Decks

The hours of operation of the parking decks are:
6:00am – 7:00pm Monday-Friday.

The rate for both parking decks is $1/ hour. CASH ONLY.

Special Event parking is a flat rate of $3.

Scott Street Parking Deck: 11 E. Clinton St., Joliet, IL

Handicapped Parking

Free handicapped parking is located along Jefferson Street, just outside the stadium.

Pick Up/Drop Off Area

A pick-up and drop-off area is located near the main entrance to the stadium on the North side of Jefferson. Busses and other vehicles may stop briefly in a designated lane to either load or unload passengers.

FROM I-80
