Meet Howard Hamilton - 2016 Joliet Chamber Board Chair!

Howard J. Hamilton, PE, CFM, CPESC

President, Robert E. Hamilton Consulting Engineers, Inc.  Joliet

Howard is a lifelong resident of Will County and has been President of Robert E. Hamilton Consulting Engineers, Inc. (REHCE) since 2006.  His wife Kristen (also a lifelong resident of Will County) is Chairman/CEO of REHCE with offices in Joliet and Trinidad & Tobago. Howard is a 1981 graduate of Joliet West High School and earned Bachelor’s (Civil Engineering- Wastewater) and Master’s (Civil Engineering- Hydrology/Hydraulics) degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 1986 and 1987.  He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana and the country of Trinidad & Tobago, a licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, a Certified Floodplain Manager, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.

He has served in leadership positions in several community and professional organizations including:

Howard and Kristen have raised three college-age children in Plainfield, and they have recently renovated and moved-into his boyhood home on the west side of Joliet.

Please join the Chamber membership on Tuesday, March 8, for a Member Luncheon at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel. Our guest speaker for the luncheon will be Illinois Comptroller, Leslie Munger. Comptroller Munger will give an update on the Illinois Fiscal Situation. Cost to attend the luncheon is $35 per person, and reservations are required. Joliet Park District is hosting the Pioneer Festival and Pancake Breakfast at Pilcher Park Nature Center. This one-day event will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Enjoy pancakes, sausage, and 100% pure maple syrup. After breakfast, come see the maple syrup making demonstrations and try your hand at pioneer chores while stepping back into time with our pioneer re-enactors.
