AUGUST MEMBER LUNCHEON
The August member luncheon will take place on Thursday, August 27th, 11:30 a.m., at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate - Victorian Ballroom, located at 15 S. Richards Street. Speaker for the luncheon will be U.S. Congressman Bill Foster. Cost to attend is $35 per person, tables of ten will also be available for purchase. Call the Chamber to reserve your seat.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The Chamber membership committee has kicked-off its annual drive which will run through the end of September. We will be conducting in a little different manner this year as compared to the past years. We have identified all of our current members in the City of Joliet through GIS mapping and will be recruiting small teams of 2 or 3 individuals to visit businesses that are non-members in certain geographic areas. If you are interested in helping out, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are looking for a simple commitment of about 3 hours. Call Mike at 815.727.5371.
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP SCHOOL (CLS)
CLS will begin it's 38th year on Thursday, September 3rd. The mission of CLS is to help develop excellence in leadership in our communities. This is an 11-week program, which begins on Thursday, September 3rd, and continues every Thursday morning through November 12th. On the evening of November 12th, a graduation banquet will be held.

SAVE THE DATE-"BOOTS & BBQ: The Barnyard Bash" - Sept. 26, 2015
The community and Chamber members have spoken...Why not produce another New Orleans North type of event? So the Joliet Chamber will happily present its first ever fall event, "Boots & BBQ: The Barnyard Bash" on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate. It will undergo a complete transformation into the biggest barn party that Joliet has ever seen! Tickets will be available for $35 for Chamber members, $45 for non-members, which will cover your cost of admission, the BBQ buffet, entertainment, and a fun night of activities. This event is for 21 and over!
Some of the amenities will include a Hayride valet service, fire pits and hay bale couches, cash bar, DJ, barnyard animals, and a moonshine bar, just to name a few. This event will also feature live music from the Righteous Hillbillies!
