APRIL MEMBER LUNCHEON
You are invited to join Chamber members on Wednesday, April 26th for our Member Luncheon, and meet the new Executive Director of the Rialto Square Theatre, Valerie Devine. The luncheon will take place at the Rialto Square Theatre in the rotunda, and begin at 11:30 a.m. After lunch, guests will move into the theatre for the program portion.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB EXPO
The Joliet Chamber Education committee invites you to help support our next generation of business leaders by joining us on Tuesday, April 25, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. @ The Sullivan Center on the campus of the University of St. Francis, 500 Wilcox Street, Joliet, for the Entrepreneurship Club EXPO.
The Entrepreneurship Club is an innovative partnership between local businesses and schools for children grades 6-8 to deliver an innovative entrepreneurial business concept or provide a solution to a community problem.
Students will create a project, which will be a business plan, or an innovative idea, and will be on display at the EXPO. We encourage you to visit all the displays and interact with the students. All are welcome - there is no charge to attend and light refreshments will be served.
The program will feature Guest Speaker Trisha Prabhu, creator of ReThink: a patent-pending technology product that stops cyberbullying at the source, which has been featured on Shark Tank, Good Morning America, MSNBC and Tedx.

SPRINGFIELD DRIVE DOWN

American Cancer Society announces the Glen Marcum Community Engagement Award. This award is for American Cancer Society Volunteers in the East Central Region of the Lakeshore Division.
The Glen Marcum Community Engagement Award recognizes individuals who have consistently over time exhibited dedication, time, talents and treasure to achieve the vision and mission of the American Cancer Society. This award was initiated in 2017 to honor and acknowledge Glen Marcum’s outstanding commitment to every aspect of the work of the ACS in the East Central Region of the Lakeshore Division. United Way of Will County - April is National Volunteer Month, and the United Way of Will County is looking for volunteers to assist them at two different Mobil Food Pantries in Joliet: On April 24, 20 volunteers are needed from 3:15 - 6:15 p.m. at Judson Memorial Baptist Church, and on April 27, 20 volunteers are needed from 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Center For Disability Services - The Board of Directors is please to announce Randy Chapman has been named President and CEO of the Center for Disability Services, formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Illinois Prairieland. Chapman has returned to the area from Rochester, MN, where he was publisher of the Post Bulletin and Rochester Magazine. Previously, Chapman had been senior development officer at the University of St. Francis and before was publisher of the Joliet Herard News.
