Annette Szobar opened AMS Office Solutions in January of 2006 with the objective to assist small business owners needing more tools to make day-to-day business decisions.  Prior to 2006, she was a wholesale business owner in the area of industrial sales.  From experience, she knew that small business owners had difficulty finding the resources to give them these tools.

As a QuickBooks® Advanced Certified ProAdvisor, she began using her business knowledge, bookkeeping skills, and software knowledge to help businesses set-up QuickBooks® correctly, train their employees, customize it for their needs, and troubleshoot existing problems.  She is quite often used for on-going support to the company bookkeeper and is often referred to clients by their accountants and their bankers.  Her work is customized to her client’s needs and budget.  While she mainly works with individual clients, she has worked with several agencies such as the SBDC and various computer training companies and has taught hundreds of QuickBooks® classes to over 3,000 participants.

QuickBooks® is the leading small business accounting software program which not only gives your accountant the information to file your tax return, but also gives the business owner the ability to get correct information to make daily business decisions.

Becoming a trusted small business resource, Annette Szobar began seeing that her small business clients needed even more assistance.  Seeing that many of her small business clients did not seek legal advice when it was needed because of the high costs, she began working with LegalShield which provides top-quality, affordable, legal assistance to small businesses, individuals, and families, as well as identity theft resolution.

Annette Szobar can be reached at 815-768-6163 or at ams@amsos.com.  Learn more at www.amsos.com.

Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center's superior clinical quality has earned them a place on Healthgrades' list of top 50 hospitals nationwide, one of only eight in Illinois, for their low mortality and complication rates. Simply put, the distinction recognizes hospitals where patients have the best chances of surviving.

The top 100 facilities are among "the top 2% of hospitals in the nation for exhibiting clinical excellence for at least three consecutive years", according to Healthgrades. The top 50, where PSJMC landed, represents "the top 1% of hospitals in the nation for providing overall clinical excellence across a broad spectrum of conditions and procedures consistently for at least six consecutive years."
