Chamber members are encouraged to advertise in our "Chamber Stuff" mailing, which goes out each month to all Chamber members. The cost to insert a flyer in our mailing is $175 ($150 for charitable organizations). You must deliver 1,900 copies of your flyer to the Chamber office by the 20th of the month (along with payment). The flyer may be double-sided, postcard, tri-fold, etc., but only one page. (Extra charges will apply for more than one sheet). The Chamber Staff is working hard to bring you a great experience at EXPO 2015, which will take place on Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28 at Louis Joliet Mall. New to EXPO this Year: Lower prices, Entertainment, and 15 Minutes of EXPO Fame! Several Sponsorship opportunities and great booth locations with one or two-day options are still available! STATE OF THE CITY BREAKFAST ON MARCH 3rd
Please join the Chamber as Joliet Mayor Tom Giarrante delivers his "State of the City" address on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:30 a.m., at City Hall in the Council Chambers. Mayor's address will be at 7:30 a.m., followed by a continental breakfast. Cost to attend is $20 per person, and reservations are required. BMO HARRIS BANK TO BE HONORED AS THE 2015 SALUTE TO ACCOMPLISHMENT RECIPIENT
Please join us as we honor BMO Harris Bank as the 2015 Salute to Accomplishment recipient at a dinner on Wednesday, March 4th at 176 West Banquets. The Housing Authority of Joliet is celebrating 70 years and changing its landscape by speaking life to our residents, employees, City of Joliet community, partnering agencies and organizations, and to neighboring communities we serve throughout Will County. We want to send out a positive message to everyone, demonstrate our contributions to the City of Joliet and Will County, and we are highly excited for everyone to witness these and the many more changes to come! The University of St. Francis (USF) will name the former Mode Theatre building in downtown Joliet the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center, announced USF President Arvid C. Johnson. The building is named in honor of philanthropist and entrepreneur, the late Robert W. Plaster, and "in recognition of a significant six-figure gift by The Robert W. Plaster Foundation," said Johnson.
Special Recreation of Joliet and Channahon (SRJC) will hold their 16th annual Candlelight Bowl Fundraiser on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Crest Hill Lanes. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes bowling and either lunch or dinner. This year there are two shifts from which to choose: 2PM or 9PM.
